The courses that will be delivered by Imaging are listed in Table 1.

 

 

1 Image Processing This image processing course consists mainly in fundamental science of remote sensing and satellite image processing. User will learn necessary knowledge of remote sensing as a primary concept before exposed in various general image processing skills: Image conversion, image enhancement, image projection and transformation, image classification, map making and 3D simulation. These are essential skills to produce value-added application using geospatial technologies. Hands on training using ERDAS software for selected image processing will be also conducted.
2 Georeferencing, Data  Editing and Data Entry This course involves theories and hands on training by using Arc GIS software on three main sequence processes called Data Georeferencing, Data Digitization and Data Entry respectively. The spatial data raster which has no spatial reference were georeferenced with the known spatial reference data. Then output from the georeferencing process was used to create new features or convert features from analog form (raster data) to digital form (vector data). This process called as digitizing. The created features stored in shapefile. Data entry of attribute data for each created features data was also conducted.
